Brushing is essential for both climbing and bouldering. At MANTLE, we’ve worked together with our athletes to develop brushes for every scenario. In doing so, we rely on sustainably sourced raw materials and high-quality products Made in Germany.

No one likes greasy, dirty holds – doesn’t matter if it’s indoors or on the rock. To maintain the grip for as long as possible, brushing before and after bouldering or climbing is key. And since every hold and foothold outdoors is unique, we have developed a range of brushes so everyone can find the perfect fit. Our pro climbers agree.

Our wooden brushes: certified sustainability Made in Germany

To keep brushing eco-friendly, our durable wooden MANTLE brushes with natural bristles are a natural choice.

For the handle, we use sustainably harvested beech wood from forests that are FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council). This ensures that our raw materials come only from forests managed according to strict sustainability standards.

Instead of clear-cutting and monocultures, the FSC certificate stands for forestry that promotes biodiversity. natural mixed forests and gentle harvesting. This way, MANTLE supports a system that helps secure the responsible use of forests for future generations.

Nylon bristles: the vegan option

Usually, our MANTLE brushes use natural bristles made from animal hair. To make sure every climber finds the right fit, we’ve developed a vegan alternative with nylon fibers. In collaboration with our athletes, this resulted in a durable, ergonomically designed brush with a break-resistant plastic handle – and a perfect companion for both rock and gym.
