Questions to Alisa

What do you usually do in your spare time?

Besides climbing, I love spending time with friends and family. I also love baking and reading.

Give us a fun fact about you or a remarkable experience in your climbing career.

I climbed my first 7a at the age of 9. I had a good look at the climbing route beforehand and knew when to grab which hold. Unfortunately, my attempt to climb through didn't go quite according to plan. Shortly before the top, I reached into a very good and large hole, but immediately withdrew my hand as I felt something slippery under my fingers. When I climbed up later, I was shocked to realise that there was a snake curled up enjoying the last rays of sunshine! The snake had of course chosen the biggest and best hole on the wall, so unfortunately I couldn't climb the route that day. The next day I finally climbed the route and this time no snake could stop me.

What are your long term and/or short term goals?

My short-term goal is to really get going in winter training in order to be as well prepared as possible for the coming season and to be able to perform at competitions. In the long term, I want to keep working on myself, keep climbing fun and stay injury-free.
