Drei Medaillen für Team MANTLE bei der Deutschen Meisterschaft im Bouldern

Strong performances, three podium finishes and several finals: The German Bouldering Championships in Pfungstadt were a successful weekend for Team MANTLE.

Last weekend, Germany's bouldering elite gathered at the Studio Bloc in Pfungstadt for the German Bouldering Championships. In the women's competition, defending champion Lucia Dörffel once again claimed the German title, while Thorben Bloem prevailed in the men's competition.

Team MANTLE's athletes also delivered strong performances. With two silver medals, one bronze medal and several other top placements in Germany, the team looks back on a successful championship.

Finn Altemöller becomes German runner-up

In the men's final, Finn Altemöller delivered a strong performance. With three tops and one zone, he secured second place behind Thorben Bloem and thus the German runner-up title.

Also Lucas Trandafir mixed at the very front in the exceptionally tight men's final. The 18-year-old narrowly missed the podium and secured a strong fourth place. This once again confirms that he can always be counted on among Germany's top boulderers.

For MANTLE newcomer Mattis Eisenkolb, the championships were also a successful adult debut. The 16-year-old confidently reached the final and finished his first adult nationals in eighth place.

Also Oscar Pongratz and Florian Schweiger managed to reach the semi-finals. They ultimately finished in eleventh and 24th place.

Silver and bronze for Team MANTLE in the women's competition

Team MANTLE also won two medals in the women's competition.

Paula Mayer-Vorfelder confirmed her strong form from the current season. After her victory in this year's youth cup, she now also impressed at the adult level and secured the German runner-up title in bouldering.

Right behind her, Afra Hönig landed on the podium. In a thrilling final, the experienced athlete managed a decisive top on the final boulder, securing the bronze medal.

Junior athlete Alisa Strigo also delivered a strong performance. The 16-year-old narrowly missed the final in ninth place. As this was only her second German Bouldering Championship, it also represents a new personal best.
